How to Copy and Modify an existing IQA Report

Modified on Fri, 7 Apr, 2023 at 9:41 AM

It is important to note that when you are copying and saving an IQA report that you save it in it's corresponding folder, for example if you copy any IQA from the "Samples" folder, you will need to save your copy in the corresponding staff folder (ex. Membership folder). Do not copy and save IQAs to the samples folder, this is where only sample data belongs. (see image below for example).

Example: a staff user needs to make a change to the "Current Dual Members" IQA. They would open the IQA, create a copy, rename it and save it in the Membership folder (you can save it to whichever folder makes the most sense of course), just make sure not to save it in the "Samples" folder.

How to Copy and Modify an existing IQA Report

1. Locate the IQA you'd like to modify then create a copy of the IQA by opening the file, and select "Save As" Be sure to give the file a NEW and unique name, and select the folder you want to copy to.

2. Once the IQA saves, you should see the name update in the editor in the upper left corner with the new name you gave it. From here you can proceed to make any changes or add or remove any necessary columns under the "Display" section of the editor
To add new columns to the IQA be sure to select the "View all columns" drop down at the top right of the Display editor

3. Once you've Selected View All columns, you can see which columns are actively being displayed and which are not.

Those items under the "Selected" section will be displayed upon running the IQA. You can deselect the checkboxes next to those values to remove any of them from the list of display items.

In order to add new columns, select any available fields in the "Available" section by clicking the checkbox next to the field name to add it to the displayed list.
4. Once you add all of your fields, they will not populate into the "Selected" section until you either run the IQA or click the refresh button in the Display section.

5. When you are done making changes click the "Save" button to save the file you just created.
